The flexibility of pragmaMx, not being limited to fixed content, makes it particularly suitable for use as a community website. It has a user administration with several authorization levels. For example, it is possible to withhold areas from unregistered users and to use several administrators to maintain the website, each of whom can be restricted to his area of ​​responsibility (e.g. only responsible for managing the downloads or the forum). Since the users can actively help shape the content of the website (e.g. by posting interesting web links and downloads, by writing articles that are of interest to the community, by commenting on contributions or using the forum), the care and maintenance effort for the administrators is clear less than static websites.

PragmaMx has several functional areas that can be flexibly activated or deactivated according to the needs of the website. Not everyone needs all of the features. The performance area is less of interest for the fast display of the website and its content (this is more of a very pleasant side effect) than it is for the system resources required on the web server side. Since pragmaMx often only needs 10% of the resources compared to other CMS due to well thought-out programming, it is accepted as a website by most Internet providers, even if there is a lively community operation with a few hundred users at the same time. This is not generally the case. If, for example, a CMS is used that requires significantly more resources from the web server, the website is usually shut down without prior notice from the Internet provider.
